stop using the wrong Claude for your business

Hey Reader,

I ignored the best version of Claude for 6 months.

And I'm the guy with 25+ years of engineering experience.

If I got this wrong, the odds you're using the right one are not great.

Here's the mistake, and why fixing it gave me back 10 hours a week.

The room without a phone.

Most business owners use Claude in the browser, like ChatGPT with better vibes.

It answers questions well, and it would be easy to think that that's all you need.

But that's like hiring a brilliant PA and locking them in a room without a phone.

You can slide questions under the door, but they can'd do most of the work for you.

So you're paying full price for an under-performer. Not good.

The lesson that took me 6 months.

The value of AI in a business is not answers, but it's actual work done.

For example, my YouTube competitor research, newsletter writing, social media analytics and similar busywork uses to mean I'd have to log into every apps, copy pasting stuff into spreadsheets.

Hours of my week gone to things I knew AI should be able to do.

So now, Claude does 80 to 90% of it on my computer, and I just review and approve.

Same subscription price. Completely different output.

The only thing that changed is which version of Claude I run.

And no, it's not the magical Claude Code, which actually has a brutal learning curve for beginners.

The part I can't put in an email.

I recorded exactly which version I use, the dashboard that replaced weeks of busywork, and the pricing mistake mistake most owners make before they even start.

Just one number from that dashboard I built in it changed the way I run my business today.

Hey Reader, I owe you an apology. For months I told you Claude Cowork was useless. Because I'm an engineer, so I just stuck to Claude Code instead. But I was wrong. What changed my mind. Last month my team and I gave it a real shot. Turns out... while we've been ignoring it, a lot has happened and it's really good. We now built and share custom dashboards right inside Cowork that used to take weeks to build. One team member said: "My beautiful Ops Command Center is the closest I've ever...

Hey Reader, People keep telling me their AI "breaks everything" and "makes weird decisions." I use the same models. Same tools. Same subscriptions. But I almost never have these problems. For the longest time, I thought I was just lucky. Then I looked at what I actually do differently. It comes down to three things. 1. A minimal AGENT․md file. Think of this like a one-page employee handbook for your AI. Mine is short. Genuinely minimal. It tells the AI to: Keep docs updated as it makes...

Hey Reader, Anthropic just announced free monthly API credits for all Claude subscribers! 🎉 Sounds great, right? Well, let's read the fine print... The catch nobody's talking about. Starting June 15th, third-party tools like Conductor can no longer tap into your Claude subscription directly. Instead, they will now pull from those shiny new API credits. But here's the thing. If you're on the $100/month Max plan, you get $100 in API credits. Claude Opus 4.7 will chew through that in a few...
